A Padua-born designer, born in 1950. He studied art and architecture in Venice, and at the age of 23, he designed his first industrial product. In 1977, he started collaborating with Bernini S.p.A., where he became artistic director from 1979 to 2009. In 1986, together with Lenci and Talocci, he created the aeronautical division of Poltrona. During the 1980s, he opened a studio in Venice and became a visiting professor at the U.I.A. of Florence and the Polytechnic University of Milan. From 1989 to 1996, he taught a DESIGN course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.

From 1988 to 2010, he held numerous design seminars in São Paulo, Tokyo, Quito, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Miami, Moscow, New York, Kiev, London, and Shanghai.

His works are featured in the collections of The Denver Art Museum, the Fonds National d’Art Contemporain in Paris, the Magma Museum in Roccamonfina, Farnesina Design, and the Museum of the Triennale in Milan.

He has received the "Good Design Award" from the Chicago Athenaeum three times. In 2007, he won the "DesignX Australian Award," and in 2008, he received an Honorable Mention at the XXI Compasso d'Oro.

From 2007 to 2010, he designed the welcoming spaces for the Venice Art and Architecture Biennales. He exhibited at the “Spectrum” exhibition at the Royal College of Art, the "Masterworks, Italian Design 1960-1994" exhibition at the Denver Museum, the "Dolce Stilnovo, Domestic Landscape in Contemporary Italy" exhibition at the Kaohsiung Museum in Taipei, and the "First International Design Triennial of Beijing."
